We have also partnered with ChemTron, as our exclusive suppliers, to provide our properties with access to top industry-standard cleaning and disinfecting supplies and have made training available to support our facility and our staff and managed owned condos in achieving the highest standards of cleanliness, disinfection and hygiene.

Our mission is to make resort travel possible for all, and that becomes especially important during times of uncertainty. Our cancellation policies for direct bookings are among the most flexible in the hotel/resort industry, with hundreds of guests already who have found our facilities honoring no-fee cancellations.

We have enhanced our policies as follows:

For bookings made online at www.bluemarlincove.com using our booking platform, guests are advised to contact all Bahamas and US Authorities Directly to confirm all current and up to date Laws and Local Requirements directly Along with Blue Marlin Cove Policies. Please consult travel advisories and information made available by the World Health Organization, U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and the U.S. Department of State.

We will continue to closely monitor the situation and adapt our policies accordingly.

Additionally, due to the current situation with coronavirus, our staff are implementing new processes to protect the safety of our guests and team members. This may result in a reduction in certain services and amenities that are normally available at our resort. Those traveling to property and surrounding areas are asked and required to comply with all local guidelines and restrictions and may be required to provide identification establishing that they are “properly cleared travelers.” If guests have questions or concerns, we ask them to please contact the local Bahamas Government Agencies to obtain all proper and current information directly as our onsite and offsite teams cannot and will not confirm any rapidly changing guidelines which could cause a delay in you stay with us.

Blue Marlin Cove Future Resort Developments

We’re constantly working to grow our beautiful, fun and feature-rich community for you, our owners and guests.

Over the 2017-2018 winter, we’re finalizing our latest project – Operation “Clear Da’ Beach!” We’re proud to say Blue Marlin Cove now owns 400 feet of private beach: warm sands, cerulean sea, shady palms, nightly beach bonfires (in season), oceanfront bar service, free water toys, and a host of other beachfront amenities. Plus, one of Grand Bahama’s best snorkeling reefs – right off our beach!

Marina Improvements

  • We have finished dredging the inlet. A 6-foot channel now leads to sea depths of over 1,000 feet.
  • New Red and Green navigational aids + solar lights have been added for passage into Blue Marlin Cove.
  • 300’ of new dockage is complete, and will accommodate vessels with a 20’ beam. 50-amp and 30-amp power is now available for a daily rate.
  • On-site water sports guide service for inshore or offshore fishing.
  • On-site harbor master with on-site harbor boat for towing, if necessary.

Resort Improvements

  • We’re proud to announce our new full-service restaurant, now serving breakfast, lunch and dinner. Locally owned and run onsite
  • We’ve recently opened our new Beach Club Tiki Bar.
  • Our newly furnished and provisioned rental units deliver everything you need, from an iron to a blender!
  • The new Kids’ Beach at Blue Marlin Cove! Bring your kids to the beach and enjoy one of our nine new hammocks beneath the coconut palms. Relax and watch the kids play in the sand while you enjoy your favorite book swaying in the peaceful Bahamian breeze.

Security Improvements

  • 30+ new security cameras with off-premise recording, 24 hours a day for top security, along with 24-hour on-site security personnel and nightly lockdown of our marina basin.

Blue Marlin Cove Announces Major Expansion to Their Resort and Marina

Blue Marlin Cove Resort and Marina has unveiled new plans to build upon their rich sport fishing heritage and expand into a second home, world-class vacation and eco-tourism destination. Plans call for the construction of a new beach club and pool, a welcome center with on-site customs, an amenities building with spa, and the expansion of the marina to approximately 90 floating slips with fuel and diesel pumps. The acquisition of several adjoining properties has been completed, and the resort’s new footprint will include direct beachfront access. Groundbreaking will occur in the second half of 2017 and the new facilities are estimated to be completed in 2018...
